This band was the first concert I ever saw back on April 17, 1982 at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. They would break up within the year, but I have always dug them. Surprisingly they reformed in 1992 and after a great album and good tour they vanished again. Shockingly, they got it together one more time and I caught them in San Jose here. It had been awhile since I used the old D-3, and it faltered during "After All" so I had to edit in another source to fill the gap (not the Keyd source, however.) The rest of the recording went well enough and this is a pretty decent recording. I taped from stage right, in front of Geezer. The show was pretty long and Dio was still working on getting his chops together (listen to his voice crack at one point during "Voodoo") and meshing with his old band mates. I think they are much tighter now, but these 2007 shows are a treat as we get two new songs and "Lady Evil" as well. Enjoy!
