Taped this one myself and I was on the floor, directly in front of Axl about 50 feet from the stage. I traded some copies of it, but not a ton, so not sure how much this may have circulated. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For this show, GnR were the opening act for Iron Maiden. Great set by Axl, Slash & the boys just before they got mega-huge. Check out Axl's erie foreshadow of their success when he introduces the band. Definitely an above average sounding audience tape. Some crowd noise in between songs, but not really during. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Axl is in a real violent mood, speculating about trying to kill someone before “My Michelle.” During introductions, Axl tells the crowd to remember their names because they'll be hearing them a lot during the next few years! Talk about premonition! Axl introduces 'Welcome To The Jungle' as “a cover song written by a bunch of faggots called Guns N' Roses, this is Welcome To The Jungle!”
