Quite a while ago, fellow Dimer "In_halen" received an SHN file set, labelled "master", of this show from another collector. In_halen does not remember who it was (and thus cannot confirm 100% that the files are really sourced from the master tape, but see the following notes). In_halen, in turn, converted the SHN files to FLAC, and recently gave the the FLAC files to fellow Dimer "Catatau" - who, in turn, gave them to me. Many thanks to my friends Catatau and In_halen, to the unknown trader and to the unknown taper (or maybe taper and trader were the same person, we don't know). The 90:18 min file set that I received from Catatau sounds very nice, but obviously run too slow, so I decided to correct the speed/pitch before sharing it. Many thanks go to my friend and fellow Dimer "Rnranimal" for helping me - with a lot of effort, patience and skill - to determine the correct speed (or what we now believe to be the correct speed) and the best way to carry out the speed adjustment (see below). This version now runs 85:53 min. To my ears, it sounds significantly better than the 2nd gen copy that Voitto shared a while ago, so I do believe that the unknown trader was honest when s/he labelled this version "master". No sound-processing other than speed-correction has been carried out by me. Whether any sound-processing was done by the unknown trader, taper or anyone in between, I don't know.
This is a VERY nice-sounding recording with a great setlist - it was one of the early shows of the "Born Again" tour where they still played "Keep it Warm" and "Born Again".
