Well boys and boys (we know there are few girls here) this is it, the last show from the REAL Bad Boys From Boston: Aerosmith. The last gig of the "Done With Mirrors" tour and really the last show of the straight out rockin' days of the band. A cool show here: "Big Ten Inch Record" get a slightly extended guitar ending. We get a complete "Darkness." I believe it's the only complete version caught on tape live (someone correct me if I'm wrong.) "Seasons of Wither" is also played, always a treat. "Red House" gets a nice long workout from Perry too. A pretty good recording from this outdoor show. Strangely, the taper only sent me the last 85 minutes or so of the show initially. I can't recall why. Then he sent me the first part of the gig later which may be slightly clearer although it's the same source. After this they would go into the studio to record "Permament Vacation" along with some cheesy songwriters. When the band emerged for their next gig at the Cotton Bowl 6/20/87 they were a forever changed band. So send the family out, pop open a beer and enjoy the last gig ever from the "real" Aerosmith!
