Before there was Ozzfest.....there was "Operation Rock N' Roll".
Now granted...it looked good on paper but there was a few things that I found that I didn't care for. The first thing was the short sets by the bands. There was nothing between band changeovers to keep you in the pavillion and nothing outside other than the beer vendors. There was little or no warning when a band would start playing (as you can tell by the start of most of the band's first songs as I wasn't ready). And the attendance was not that good for bands like Alice Cooper & Judas Priest who both have had recent success with their most recent albums! And I had some "personal" issues with the security as I was on the very end seat into the right side stack of speakers in the lower pavillion so I couldn't flip the tape before the start of "The Green Manalishi" as he was right beside me!
