Received in trade from Jansson (Appreciated as always), the only work these files required was retracking, a silent gap between Tracks 16 & 17 removing, & extraneous crowd/PA music removing from the end of Track 19 - all achieved using Audacity, prior to TLH being employed for the sbe's & conversion...This show has been around before, & that widely-circulated version of it has been on Dime before - however, the widely-circulated version reseeded on Dime in July '17 by Paprick is a high gen transfer, which is drenched in hiss & has a metallic sound to it. This particular version (from the same source), on the other hand, doesn't appear to be as widely circulated, is a low gen transfer, & has very little hiss & a more natural sound to it
The show itself is a good one, with Another Perfect Lineup playing well through a 'controversial-at-the-time' setlist, although the 1983 tour in general was blighted by Robbo refusing to play certain songs...The mix & balance allow everything to be discernable, although Lem's vocal is occasionally indistinct, & the recording is more than listenable - no soundboard, but a more than adequate audience pull - overall, a decent addition to the canon...& Remember - They were Motorhead, & They played Rock & fucking Roll - Don't forget 'em...
