This was my second taping attempt and the first time I used this gear so I had absolutely no idea what to expect but the result caught me totally unprepared. At least the name came quickly to mind when I was thinking how to name this bootleg.
1. The right channel totally fucked up and is there only for the last 30 minutes of the recording. I had to double the left channel which sounds OK.
2. I was afraid to increase the line-in volume to max when taping though I saw the levels are quite low. It turned out really quiet so I boosted it a little bit in Audition.
3. For some mysterious reason there are some pops and clicks in the first 15 minutes and the MD stopped during the 4th song. Part of 'Ride the Lightning' and the whole 'For Whom The Bell Tolls' is missing from the recording. So I decided to scrap also the first 3 songs because of the annoying clicks. So this is an incomplete recording.
4. It started raining with the beginning of 'One' and I had to cover my mics to protect them from the rain, so the sound is a bit muffled in the last 30 minutes.
Anyway, pretty decent, unfortunately incomplete recording, lots of fun and lessons learned for next time.
