This was night two of Metallica in Vancouver for their Full Arsenal tour. The tickets I managed to get are normally crappy seats, but because of the way the stage is set up it worked out well. Jim Breuer had a slightly different set than the previous night, including a couple jokes he still had on paper and bringing 'Metallikid' up on stage. Metallica's show this night was nearly identical, extremely similar dialogue from James and the exact same mishaps. However the sound was much better for me this night, and I think it had a lot to do with a slightly better location.
I was hoping the setlist would differ from the previous night, but it was still a great show. This time I didn't have security standing behind me for most of the show. The guy beside me brought his kid who had to be under 5 years old. They left halfway through, there was a lot of smoke. Beach balls again for Seek & Destroy.
If you were going to only get one of the two shows I recorded, I would say this is the one to get. I wanted to go to the third show on the 27th for $5 but I had to work.
