Just a quick note to let everybody know I am doing ok but rebiulding a new life has not been easy. One of the down side of starting over is that I have been without internet for the last 6 months. It may be a bit longer before I get it back but here is a couple of shows I have been wanting to share.
On Dec 28th Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister finally gave up the ghost after 70 years of hard Rockin', hard livin' and hard lovin'. He was "Over The Top" to the bitter end never flinching an inch on the way. I was able to go see him one more time on the day before my birthday. Even though I knew he would not be the same Lemmy I last saw there in 2011 it would have been a copout to have missed it (even though there was no guarantees he would be able to perform with recent health issues) and I am so glad I made the road trip. It is a short but sweet set and I hope it is a fine tribute by me for one of Rock & Roll's most memorable characters to ever stand on stage.
Dammit Lemmy you bastard you was suppose to live forever... at least you did it on your own terms.
