This was an awesome show. The crowd started crazy as soon as they heard the Spitfires flying away. Winston did his thing, and we were off! From the first note, to the last beat, Maiden tore through a classic setlist like hungry men at a buffet. The crowd was wild, with upfront being packed enough for Mr Air Raid to ask everyone to take a step back. They were also singing along with him. The Somewhere Back In Time Tour featured the Powerslave era stage set up, and had cyborg Eddie stomping 'round Ancient Egypt. So that's how they built the pyramids. The Allstate is a barnyard and it is very hit and miss with the sound. This recording, while nowhere near perfect, is still a good representation of the show. There is a 6 second gap during Wasted Years. No idea what happened there, as it is on the master.
