It is with pleasure that I share this Analogue 1 transfer of GNR Sydney 1988. I received this tape as well as the master tape for 14-12-1988 Melbourne show from the taper a few years back.
A really nice show and the best quality you will find it in. That being said, I have not adjusted anything so could do with a remaster, sound boost and clean-up etc. but I wanted to present the original tape as I have it.
As with all my transfers, nothing has been altered or adjusted, pretty-well press play on the tape and hit record. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Axl thanks Rose Tattoo & Angel City for making good music and being from Australia. Axl mentions that he's been bored and on drugs for the last few days. Steven has a drum solo during 'Rocket Queen.' Before My 'Michelle,' Axl kicks out a fan in the front for throwing stuff at the stage. Axl introduces 'Knockin' On Heaven's Door' as an "oldie." Axl says that they'll be paying overtime fees for playing long. Slash leads yet another "hey fuckers!" chant. 'Nice Boys,' dedicated to Rose Tattoo, closes out the show
