Recorded from the seats on the right side, about 10 metres away from the stage/PA, no annoying clappers/whistlers.......perfect seats, perfect view and a perfect audience around me.
Some volume balancing and some re-mastering done (according to my personal taste) but all in all I tried to keep this recording as close to the original as possible. Last time I had seen Maiden before this show was back in 2000 and I only bought tickets for the Oberhausen concert because the seats I could get were simply fantastic. That's about all the positive things I can say about this show. After 15 min. I got bored and started counting the minutes until it was finally over because a) the setlist on this tour was weak and b) Janick Gers is unfortunately still in the band. Sorry, all you Maidenheads out there but watching this guy's pathetic and ridiculous stage acting for two hours is REALLY a challenge (to express it very carefully). I never understood why they needed a third guitarist anyway and especially not him.
Anyway, the recording came out great and if you enjoy it as much as I dislike J.G. - you're in for a treat ;-) !
