The only other time I saw GnR was back when the first album came out .This time around they put on a great show too, I won tix from my local radio station "Rock 107". I'm not really a big GnR fan ( I do love the first album) but , they certainly suprised me, they rocked from start to finish about 3+hrs. The band seems pretty tight, Bumblefoot seemed to be in pain or sick , not sure , he sat down for a good portion of the concert off to the side of the stage ( he still played great ). Axl sounded great, it's like his voice never changes, he put on a good performance too. They came out pretty quick after the opener, glad he did'nt make us wait, just a normal concert. Now for the venue crowd portion , the sound in this place just does not seem too good to me, not sure if it was the venue or the soundman ( or both ). I recorded it from 30 - 40ft center , I had to move back and forth because people come to shows TO FUCKING TALK !!!!! Pisses me off every time ! so there is some talking/singing/whistling throughout the show ... and the recording still came out pretty good. Not my best but still worth a listen. PLAY IT LOUD !!!!
One other thing I would like to mention, they would not let one man into the venue because he was wearing a "Slash" hat.... I thought that was overboard, but I guess it was a band request.
I did my best on the setlist but, I only know the first album, other stuff may be wrong, I went off of other setlists from the past few shows and tried to piece it together best I can. Feel freeto correct it.
