Notes of "Rockphantom":
...The 'Most Dangerous Band In The World' was fresh out of the studio, and back in action!

Welcome BACK To The Jungle, ladies and gentlemen!

On June 13th, 1991, Guns N' Fuckin' Roses Got In The Ring and ravaged the Spectrum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania...

The immortal Illusion '91 era line up of Axl, Slash, Duff, IZZY, Matt
and Dizzy, rocked the City of Brotherly Love to its core!
The rowdy, sold out, Philadelphia audience showered these Rock N' Roll
Outlaws with a manic appreciation uncontested.
In return, G'N'F'N'R delivered a mesmerizing performance with all Guns blazing.

The Gunners' set consisted of a splendid mixture of both Appetite classics, as well as an infusion of Illusions...
From the ferocious opener, Perfect Crime, to the celebratory show closer, Paradise City, no stone in Guns N' Roses stellar catalog was left unturned. Rare tunes performed included, Izzy's two Use Your Illusion contributions Dust N' Bones, and, 14 Years, the aforementioned, combustible rocker, Perfect Crime, as well as the sitar tinged Pretty Tied Up.

No Guns show would be complete without a few classic rants from our favorite red headed misfit, the eccentric, Axl Rose!

Brimming with bad attitude, Axl came close to starting the first riot of the tour during the inner city anthem, 'Welcome To The Jungle'.
"STOP! STOP! STOP THE SONG!" Axl screamed during the first rendition of 'Jungle'.
Apparently, a few punks near the stage provoked a fist fight with a member of GN'R's crew.
A livid Mr. Rose then berated the trouble makers for several minutes before deciding to restart Jungle from the beginning for the benefit of the frenzied fans in the audience!!
Absolutely wild!!

There is so much more to say about this mind blowing performance....

However, I suggest listening to the monumental Philadelphia show and allowing Guns N' Fuckin' Roses to speak for themselves!

While listening, I suggest reading the following official Guns N'Roses books to get a feel for the genuine volatility of live GN'R performance!

1. George Chin's 'Guns N' Roses: The Pictures'
2. Robert John's 'Guns N' Roses: The Photographic History'
3. Marc Canter's 'Reckless Road: Guns N' Roses and the Making of
Appetite for Destruction'
