I know it's a little after the event but I'm pretty pleased the way this one turned out, recorded from the right side of the balcony. It was a hugely exciting show, helped in no small part by what was the loudest most enthusiastic crowd I've experienced for a very long time. I'm sure had the venue management not interrupted, the band would still have been playing long into the wee small hours instead of going over the curfew by about 15 minutes (at no small cost to Mr Hudson).
This is only my second recording, and my first using external mics, and once again I must offer enormous thanks to scdegraaf for sprinkling magic dust on the edited show. She's been a real trooper for me and has been a fantastic source of information and help.
Perhaps not the correct place to say this, but in the last few weeks I've recorded both Tom Petty shows from the Albert Hall, John Hiatt in London, and Ronnie Wood & Friends in London. With any luck I should be offering some other good things for you all in the next few weeks. Please be patient as I'm relying a lot on Sylvia and she has more than enough to do for herself.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this, and keep your eyes open for the aforementioned goodies to come.
