Notes #1: There were 2 known/circulating sources for this third night at MSG : (1) One with unknown lineage and (2) the KamenLiter master that was shared here recently. This is a new, third source. Unfortunately it's incomplete, missing everything after 'November Rain'. I bought (!) this tape about a year ago, but my contact cannot find the second tape in his archive. It does exist, it's just missing. I hesitated to share this (since nothing is more frustrating than an incomplete show), but since it sounds so good, I decided to share it anyway. Maybe someday the complete recording will turn up, if you have it please share ! For now, let's enjoy a third, unheard excellent capture of the closing night of one of the highlights of the UYI Tour, the 3-night stand at MSG.

Notes #2: I also bought new, uncirculated sources for the first and second nights at MSG, from the same contact. They are 'master' cassette copies of a second generation DAT master clone. While I was prepping them a few days ago, transfers of the master DAT's (taped by sean5150) were shared here on DIME. So I thought, what a waste of money and hours of work put into my tapes, but on the other hand having new transfers for both nights straight from the masters was pretty exciting as well. They could only sound better right ? Unfortunately, and I mean no disrespect to the people involved, the master transfers for night 1 and 2 that were shared here on Dime a few days ago were done with the levels set too high, which results in clipping in several places, and an overall brick-walled sound. To be honest, to my ears, my tapes for night 1 and 2 (one analog gen away from a DAT master clone) sound better. Night 1 is also a tad longer at the start (just in case you're a completist nut like me). To make a long story short, if anyone's interested in my transfers of night 1 and 2, and if it doesn't offend anyone, let me know !
