Recorded from the back of the venue, slightly on the right side, about 25 meters away from the stage/PA. Extremely chatty crowd that night (as usual in Holland, I should say), sometimes it was nearly impossible to hear Rob Halford talk in between the songs but surprisingly the tape came out better than I expected. All the talk wasn’t as disturbing as I heard it during the show.
Some volume balancing and some re-mastering done (according to my personal taste) but all in all I tried to keep this recording as close to the original as possible. Please be sure to check out the sample before downloading. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Second to last show of the Epitaph World Tour 2011/2012 which wound up the next day at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. Same setlist that they played since day one of the tour, Halford still sounding great, average sound in the venue. Rodahal, soundwise, is not a good venue to record, to say the best. On the last three shows Saxon joined the bill as special guest. For them this was only their second show in 2012.
I was dreading this show to be my last ever Priest concert, fortunately I was wrong…
