The first day of a 10 day festival (with this particular day billed as 'A Summer Day In Hell'), this is a powerful show from The Three Fashionistas of the Apocalypse (promoting 'Hammered'), in front of a very appreciative & giving audience...The onstage mix & balance are good, although the recording is slightly distant (improving through the show) & swirls occasionally...The show is sharp, the banter is entertaining (& Lem only has to speak to 'gift-givers' once), & the jackboot chord marches on as ever into the archives...& Remember - They were Motorhead, & They played Rock & fucking Roll - Don't forget 'em...
