This should be my last time I use the internal mics. I left my recorder on the floor and discovered during the encore that people around me picked it up. My first guess is that it was out of curiosity, but I am unsure. From the sounds of it, there were people who initially told me they did not have it only to discover that they did. Being the fool that I am, I put it down under my seat AGAIN only for someone else to pick it up and ask what it was. At this point, I grabbed it and took off for the top of the stairs. This is why Living After Midnight has a change in sound quality. I waited for the song to be over, let 5 seconds of audience noise occur, and then promptly shut it off.
With this said, I was in the front row of reserved seats on the stage right side lining up with the 7th row on the floor. This may be my best capture ever (at least top 3). The only odd thing I found was that the drums seemed to be much lower in the mix. I put on a light high pass filter and this seemed to help out with that bit. In terms of performance, it seemed to be a good show. I had vague plans to also catch Loveland 2 nights before, but could not quite make it happen.
