Before "Nightrain" Axl talks about being in the early teens when everyone are "up your ass", and you go somewhere with friends to get your head together, and he says playing live is the same thing for him. Axl continued saying the fans had put lots of pressure on six recovering drug addicts who were trying to put their lives together. After "Nightrain" Axl says he must've been hanging out too much with Lars Ulrich, cos he thinks Europeans are always drunk. Axl introduces "14 Years" saying it's somewhat about how long it took them to get there. During band introductions, Axl introduces Slash and he says he never gets to do that, with Slash commenting "Ok, this is a new one!". Axl also introduces Matt as their "fucking resident viking".
