Newly sound-upgraded 2-DVDs with great stereo sound!!!
I always find a shame that a brilliant video-recorded concert does not show a good soundtrack. This was the case of this concert, with so many rather good video shots, quite close ups, but with only a mono, compressed and rather indistinct sound. Luckily an alternative audio version, stereo and quite good indeed, was made available to me (thanks once more, Mariano Scott (Cabeza)!!! your contribution was vital to me). Even more luckily it just runs at the same speed as the video. So it took me just two weeks to synchronize the two audio tracks, song by song, merge them and produce the new soundtrack of the video. I decided to use also the original soundtrack, to partially enlarge the stereo field of the audio recording. For this purpose, I add 30% of the original mono signal to the right channel of the new stereo audio track (mixed in at 70%). In between the songs, sometimes you will notice that the audio is switching from the main stream of the generated new track to one of the two components, when only one of them was available. This happens only between songs, not cut was found that affected the whole length of each song, quite a luck!! I cut out a repeated chunck at the beginning of disc2, cut also the end of the disc2 where there was nothing, added proper chapters at the start of each song and make a rather simple but effective menu, missing in the original dvds.
